Today Was The Day

BYU-Idaho

LDS Business College
This is ridiculous, but I've actually been waiting to post until I had some good news! I got accepted to both the colleges I applied to. All is well. (sigh) I've wanted to go to BYU-Idaho since I was little, it's a really amazing college. I was planning on that until I found out they didn't have anything I really wanted to study. (most of their majors are for farmers and I'm already pro at that. Bahaha just kidding). So I printed off this list of all the majors so I could decide on one even though there weren't any I wanted. Well it had all the majors for all the Church schools and I found the one that I wanted but it wasn't available at BYU-Idaho :'(. But. It was at LDS Business College :) So I started to look into it and I actually really liked what I saw It's 2 blocks from Temple Square, the State Capitol, and The Gateway (an essential haha.) My Great-Grandparents met there, my Great-Grandpa, Bryant S. Hinckley was a principal and his (soon to be wife, winker face ;) Ada was a teacher. So that was pretty cool. I have to admit though, now that I've been accepted to both I am having second thoughts because I really want to go to Idaho! I was hoping that I would just be accepted by one so that I wouldn't have to decide. I'm about 95% sure on the Business College though. When I have my interview with the Stake Presidency he said there was no reason that I should go to a college that didn't have what I wanted to study. And he's right. I'm really excited, all the housing is like antique with claw-foot bath tubs and that kinda stuff so I'm pretty stoked. And their new campus is pretty fresh I have to admit :) Anyway sorry for all the words. Oh and there is actually one more thing I need to clarify. This is actually really funny. A lot of people seem to think that now that I'm graduated I'm wasting my life away on a dead-end job and I need to go to college and I have no plans or something. In my defense I have to say that I would have gone to college this semester but my parents would like me to wait till I'm 18 and my dad needs help on the farm since both my brothers are going to be on missions this summer. So yes, I do have a life and I am going to college. Thanks for asking :)
